Get On Your Knees was launched as a one-woman show that Jacqueline presented at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland in 2018. Initially, the show was called How Embarrassing for Her.  After the festival, Jacqueline workshopped the show in Los Angeles. After Mike Birbiglia and Natasha Lyonne saw the show. the former decided to produce it for a six-week Off-Broadway run at the Cherry Lane Theatre based in Manhattan’s West Village.

Natasha agreed to present the show and John Early became the show director. Because of its popularity, they extended the run at Cherry Lane. Later, they moved the show to the larger Off-Broadway Lucille Lortel Theatre still in the West Village.  Get On Your Knees has been recognized on two New York Times lists, “Best Theater of 2019” and “Best Comedy of 2019.”  Also, the show was extended several more times.
