Iisha forecasted the station’s newscast on weekend evenings at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. Previously, she worked at 13 News Now in Norfolk, Virginia serving as the weekend evening meteorologist. Before that, Iisha worked for WECT-TV 6 in Wilmington, North Carolina as the weekend morning meteorologist. While there she covered the February 2014 ice storm, which destroyed southeastern North Carolina, which was the city’s second-largest ice storm to go down in history.
Iisha started her career journey in broadcasting serving as a weather apprentice and fill-in traffic reporter for WWBT NBC 12 in Richmond, Virginia. Besides that, Iisha also acquired The Salvation Army Hampton Roads Area Command’s award called “Doing The Most Good”. She believes in giving back to the community. Iisha conducted her inauguration Back to School Vision Board Party in 2016, promoting young girls to chase their dreams and also realize their potential.
