Iggy Pop ( Real Name: James Newell Osterberg) is a popular American singer, musician, songwriter, actor, and radio broadcaster. The song was recorded at Hansa Studio by the Wall in West Berlin from May to June 1977, with production being handled by Bowie, Iggy, and engineer Colin Thurston.
In 1996, Iggy found mainstream fame when his 1977 song “Lust for Life” was featured in the film Trainspotting.
