Ian Hanomansing is a popular Canadian television journalist working as a host and reporter at Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). Before, Ian hosted CBC News Network Vancouver on CBC News Network and reported for CBC Television’s nightly newscast, The National.
On August 1, 2017, Ian was named a co-anchor of The National, and now anchors the show on Fridays and Sundays. Ian also worked as interim host of CBC Radio One’s weekly call-in show Cross Country Checkup from 2020 until 2022, while regular host Duncan McCue was on sabbatical, and became named permanent host of the program in 2022. In 2006 Ian also designed Big League Manager, an NHL-licensed board game.
