Andrew Chang is a Canadian television journalist. He is best known for his role as a co-anchor of CBC Television’s nightly flagship newscast The National. Andrew became part of the CBC in 2004 at CBC Montreal as a researcher. In 2014, he was a part of CBC’s broadcast team for the 2014 Winter Olympics. Andrew was the anchor of CBC Vancouver’s News at 6 from 2014 to 2017.
In 2016 and 2018, he won the Best News Anchor, Local award at the Canadian Screen Awards for his work. Andrew was named co-host of The National on August 2017. The CBC announced in June 20222 that Andrew would be stepping away from The National. He became the host of a new daily program for the CBC’s forthcoming streaming news service.
