Hines Ward ( Full name Hines Edward Ward Jr) is an American football coach and former National Football League (NFL) wide receiver. Hine participated in college football at the University of Georgia. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL 1998’s third round.
During his entire professional career, Hines played for the Steelers and became the team’s leader in receptions. As a result, he received yardage and touchdown receptions. Hines was voted MVP of Super Bowl XL. Upon retirement, he was one of eleven NFL players to have received more than 1,000 career receptions. Apart from his career in the NFL, Hine has featured in different forms of films as well as television media.
