Heather Long (Full Name: Heather Elizabeth Long) is a popular American journalist currently working as a columnist and editorial board member at The Washington Post since December 2021. She was previously The Post’s U.S. economics correspondent. In 2020, Long played a key role in coining the “K-shaped recovery” and diagnose that this was the most unequal recession in modern U.S. history.
In 2021, Long was the first to identify the “Great Re-assessment of Work” taking place with several Americans wanting something very different in their careers after the pandemic.
