In 1983, Dyer released his television series War. The Canadian television miniseries was commissioned by the National Film Board of Canada and consisted of 7 one-hour episodes. He released the series echoing concerns expressed by the decade’s peace movement about the threat of nuclear war. Also, he authored two books in 1985 and 2005.
