He is best known on tv for his roles in Red Band Society as Charlie, in Private Practice as Mason Warner and in Back in the Game as Danny Gannon. Also, Griffin starred in the Hulu movie Big Time Adolescence as the main character.
In both seasons of the Netflix mockumentary series titled American Vandal, Griffin acted as Sam Ecklund. He also appears in the Netflix series titled Locke & Key as Gabe. Griffin portrayed Rafe Khatchadorian in the film titled Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life. He as well appears as Jack Dunkleman in the Netflix original movie titled Tall Girl.
