Greg  Papa ( Full name: Gregory Charles Papa) is an American sportscaster. He currently serves as the radio play-by-play announcer for the San Francisco 49ers. During his career, Greg broadcasted for the San Francisco Giants,  Oakland Raiders, San Antonio Spurs, Oakland Athletics, Oakland Athletics, Oakland Athletics, Golden State Warriors, and Indiana Pacers.

Greg is well known as the host of Chronicle Live on NBC Sports Bay Area and the radio play-by-play caller for the Raiders. Greg along with Kelenna Azubuike and Garry St. Jean do the in-studio analysis for all the Golden State Warriors regular-season games on NBC Sports Bay Area. His older brother Gary Papa was a Philadelphia sportscaster. Greg has won the California Sportscaster of the Year Award three times. Currently, he co-hosts a radio program with John Lund on weekdays from 10 am-2 pm.

On May 28, 2006, Greg took over the broadcast after Dave Flemming’s microphone went dead while the ball was in the air for what turned out to be Barry Bonds’ 715th career home run. Greg apologized to listeners, and also explained to them what happened on the field.
