Fred Armisen (Full Name: Fereydun Robert Armisen) is a popular American actor, comedian, writer, producer, and musician. Alongside his comedy colleague Carrie Brownstein, Armisen served as the co-creator and co-star of the IFC sketch comedy series Portlandia. Since 2019, Armisen co-stars and acts as writer and executive producer on the Spanish-language series Los Espookys, which he also co-created.

Armisen also co-created and stars in the mockumentary IFC series Documentary Now! from 2015–present with Bill Hader and Seth Meyers and the Showtime comedy series Moonbase 8 from 2020 to present) with John C. Reilly and Tim Heidecker. Armisen voiced Speedy Gonzales on The Looney Tunes Show from 2011 to 2013.
