Frank Thomas is an American retired professional baseball nicknamed “the Big Hurt”, he was a first baseman and designated hitter in Major League Baseball (MLB). During his playing career, Frank played for three American League (AL) teams from 1990 to 2008. However, he played with the Chicago White Sox during the last three years.
Frank is a five-time All-Star and the only player to have seven consecutive seasons (1991–1997) in major league history with at least 20 home runs, 100 walks, 100 runs scored, 100 runs batted in (RBI), and .300 batting average. In 1997, Frank won the AL batting title with a .347 mark. He is also a two-time AL MVP who won a World Series in 2005 but Frank was injured during the regular season and World Series.
