Erin Kiernan is an American award-winning journalist. She currently serves as the anchor of the 5, 6, & 10 o’clock newscasts at WHO/ Channel 13. WHO13 is an NCB affiliate station based in Des Moines, Iowa. Previously, Erin anchored the weekend news at KCCI, she had joined the channel in 1998. Apart from chasing news from here and there, Erin is also involved in her community development programs.
Most of the time, she volunteers for various non-profit making organizations and also teaches fitness classes at the YMCA. Additionally, Erin serves as an advocate for adoptive families and birth families. She helped found “Iowans for Adoption”.
