Elisabeth Hasselbeck ( Full Name: Elisabeth DelPadre Hasselbeck) is a popular American television personality and talk show host who rose to fame in 2001 as a contestant on the second season of the American version of Survivor, where she finished in fourth place. She is the author of ‘The G-Free Diet: A Gluten Free Survival Guide’.
From 2003 until 2013, Elisabeth appeared as a co-host on the ABC daytime talk show The View, where she became known for her conservative views on sociopolitical issues. Alongside her co-hosts Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd, and Barbara Walters, Elisabeth was awarded the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host during the 36th Daytime Emmy Awards in 2009.
