Dylan is widely credited as the person who started the big and controversial “3 AM challenge” trend that involves fictional characters in which where the YouTuber portrays themselves calling those characters as way of clickbait.
His channel was originally terminated on May 31, 2017, for violating the Community Guidelines, but was reinstated on April 12, 2018. Despite this, Dylan still continues to receive hate on his videos for his clickbait content.

It is arguably what OLDTPBUSER is known for nowadays. Durv: The Series originally started out from drawings OLDTPBUSER produced while on a road trip. It was initially a spoof of the YouTuber Dylan, who at the time of the series’ creation was best known for his videos where he claimed to have called the Boss Baby and received a response from him.
Expecting to get little-to-no views, OLDTPBUSER created a video parodying these videos that were titled I CALLED THE BOOS BAABY AND HE RESPONDED TO ME!? and uploaded it to YouTube on May 12, 2017.

This video gained the YouTuber over 6 million views before his channel’s termination. After this, many more videos with controversial titles followed. These included ‘My teacher has a crush on me, ‘YOUTUBE sent me the wrong play button’ and ‘I am dropping school at the age of 13’. Dylan has earned over 1.1 million subscribers to his channel. He said in a video that his previous account was terminated because of child endangerment.

Dylan has been heavily condemned for using clickbait to earn views and subscribers. In September 2017, he released an official diss track titled “Commentaries End” where he called out Pyrocynical, LeafyIsHere, Memeulous, ImAllexx, and WillNE. This video received several views before it was deleted and then again reinstated. Today, it has hundreds of thousands of dislikes and a few likes.
On May 31, 2017, Dylan’s YouTube channel was terminated after it was found to violate YouTube’s community guidelines.
