Drew Garabo ( Full name: Drew Raymond Garabo)  is an American radio talk show host. He is primarily known for hosting “The Drew Show”  on Real Radio 104.1 WTKS-FM Orlando. Drew hosted the show from 1997 to 2005. From 2004 to 2005, Drew wrote a sports column for the Orlando Weekly  titled “Bad Sport.”

He started his career in radio at Rollins College on WPRK 91.5. Drew was discovered by a WTKS-FM program director who hired him to initially work as a weekend disc jockey from 7 pm to midnight.  He worked briefly as a producer for Ed Tyll prior to becoming a producer for Jim Philips on The Philips Phile WTKS-FM. Drew held this role from 1996 to 1997.

Give yourself peace of mind and go get checked.” He added, “It could literally save your life and I hope it does.”

Drew said that he went public with his diagnosis because he was inspired by Florida’s First Lady Casey DeSantis who made public her own battle with breast cancer after announcing her recent diagnosis in October 2021. Dew said that a lump was discovered in his early twenties. However, it was found to be benign but recently changed dramatically. It gradually increased in size and within a couple of months, the swelling became significant. The lump was an indication that definitely something was wrong. Surgery to remove the lump was successful and Drew started chemotherapy on Monday, October 11, 2021.

Drew co-hosted “The Morning After Show” at WOCL with another former WTKS personality (and former Monsters in the Morning personality), “The Sexy Savannah”. WOCL announced on January 4, 2008, a format change and let go of most on-air talent. Drew once again stepped behind the microphone in March 2008 and launched “The Drew Show” as a podcast.
