Darlene Rodriguez is an American journalist and anchor. She currently co-anchors Today in New York on NBC4. Darlene served as a co-anchor of the show in July 2003 after working as a reporter at WNBC and then co-anchor of Weekend Today in New York.
Darlene has also served as a fill-in newsreader for Ann Curry and later, Natalie Morales on The Today Show on NBC. Prior to working at WNBC, she served as a general assignment reporter at WCBS Newsradio 88. Darlene contributes to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Hudson Valley.
She also supports the Cristian Rivera Foundation, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for a rare fatal brain tumor in young children. In addition, Darlene co-chairs WNBC’s annual Supporting our Schools school supply drive. She works extensively with the New York Urban League and the American Heart Association of Westchester.
