Dan Hicks is an American journalist and sportscaster. He serves as NBC Sports Group’s longtime and critically-acclaimed golf and Olympic commentator. Dan originally joined NBC Sports’ Notre Dame Football coverage in 2014 as its lead play-by-play voice.
Additionally, he has served as lead play-by-play host of NBC Sports’ PGA TOUR Golf Channel on NBC tournament coverage since 2000, alongside Johnny Miller, a critically-acclaimed analyst in the 18th hole tower.
Before joining NBC in 1992, Dan served as a sports anchor at CNN in 1989. He commenced his professional career in 1984 as a sports anchor/news reporter for KCEE/KWFM radio in Tucson, Arizona.
