Cris Carter is an American former professional football player. He served as a wide receiver in the National Football League for the Philadelphia Eagles, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Miami Dolphins. After playing college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cris was drafted by the Eagles in the fourth round of the 1987 NFL supplemental draft.

Since retiring from the NFL, he has served on HBO’s Inside the NFL, ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown and Monday Night Countdown, and online at Yahoo Sports. Additionally, Cris also works as an assistant coach at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, where his son played wide receiver.
