Also, Corey is best known for originating the role of Donny Novitski in the Broadway musical Bandstand. He launched his professional acting career while still a student at Carnegie Mellon.
Corey began by booking shows with Pittsburgh’s professional theater company Pittsburgh CLO. He had a production role in Jekyll and Hyde, Miss Saigon, as well as Jesus Christ Superstar. Not long after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University, Corey moved to New York City. From there, he booked the role of the Jack Kelly alternate in the Broadway musical Newsies.
