Colin Cowherd ( Full name: Colin Murray Cowherd) is an American sports media personality. He launched his broadcasting career by serving as a sports director of Las Vegas television station KVBC. Also, Colin was a sports anchor on several other stations prior to joining ESPN in 2003. The journalist hosted a radio show on the ESPN Radio network.
He started off as a play-by-play voice for the San Diego Padres Triple-A affiliate Las Vegas Stars. Eventually, colin became a sports director at KVBC in Las Vegas. While there, he was named Nevada’s Sportscaster of the Year five times. From 1993 to 1995, he served as a weekend sports anchor at WTVT based in Tampa, Florida. Colin moved to Portland, Oregon in 1996 where he served as a sports anchorman for KGW-TV.
