Chesley Mcneil is an American meteorologist. He currently serves as a weather forecaster at 11Alive television station based in Atlanta, Georgia. Apart from his career in television, Chesley has also taught both undergraduate and graduate-level Meteorology as well as Earth Sciences courses at different colleges and universities.
Currently, Chesley teaches at Kennesaw University. He holds the prestigious American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval and is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist. But his interest and training in Meteorology later gave him the weekend weather anchor job, he started now reporting on the weather, local events, and environmental as well as human interest stories. After working for nine good years at WRIC, Chesley left his role as an anchor of the weather on Good Morning Richmond as well as the 8 News at Noon newscasts. He went to Buffalo, New York where he became part of the staff of WGRZ as their morning Meteorologist for the Daybreak Morning show as well as Noon newscasts.
