He is the Chief Meteorologist at WXIA/WATL ( 11Alive ). Chris joined the 11Alive team in 1991. His first job was at WMAZ AM/WAYS FM radio where he worked as an afternoon news reporter. Nine months later, Chris joined the TV side as a reporter and weather anchor for WMAZ-TV.
While there, he covered every aspect of TV news reporting while shooting and editing his own stories. He covered the Legislature, served as a fill-in anchor, weekend weather anchor, as well as a fill-in weather anchor for the weekday morning and also evening newscasts. After three and a half years working at WMAZ, Chris joined WXIA-TV in his hometown.
In 2014, he became the Chief Meteorologist of the station. He currently appears on 11Alive Monday to Friday on the 5, 6, 7, 10, and also 11 pm newscasts on 11Alive as well as WATL.
