Cedric The Entertainer ( Real name: Cedric Antonio Kyles) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and game show host. He is best known for co-starring on The WB sitcom titled The Steve Harvey Show alongside Steve Harvey and for starring in Barbershop as Eddie Walker. Also, Cedric is one of The Original Kings of Comedy. During the 1993–1994 season and Def Comedy Jam in 1995, he hosted BET’s ComicView.
From 2013 to 2014, Cedric hosted the 12th season of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’s daytime version. Also, the comedian starred in the TV Land original series titled The Soul Man. The series aired from 2012 to 2016. Apart from that, Cedric has done voice work for Planes: Fire & Rescue, Planes, Charlotte’s Web, the Madagascar film series, and Ice Age. In 2019, the comedian received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Currently, Cedric stars on the CBS sitcom titled The Neighborhood.
