Jack Ohman is a noted American editorial cartoonist and educator. Currently, he works for The Sacramento Bee. Jack was then hired by The Sacramento Bee, in Sacramento after the death of Rex Babin. Before, he worked for The Oregonian. In addition, his work has appeared to over 300 newspapers by Tribune Media Services.
Mike Luckovich (Full Name: Michael Edward Luckovich) is a popular American Pulitzer Prize-winning liberal editorial cartoonist for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution since 1989. In 2005, Mike became the winner of the Reuben, the National Cartoonists Society’s top award.
Mike Lester is a well-known American conservative editorial cartoonist and artist. He has worked as an illustrator for children’s books and is the creator of the syndicated comic strip Mike du Jour. In 2021, he moved his editorial cartooning work to Andrews McMeel. Additionally, in 2022, the strip moved to Andrews McMeel Syndication.
Clay Jones (Full Name: Clayton “Clay” Jones) is a popular American editorial cartoonist who self-syndicates cartoons for newspapers, online news, and CNN. He also provides a weekly cartoon for CNN Opinion’s weekly newsletter, Provoke/Persuade. Clay worked as the staff editorial cartoonist at The Free Lance-Star from 1998 through 2012.
David Horsey is a well-known American editorial cartoonist and commentator. Currently, he works for the Tribune Content Agency. Before, his work appeared in the Seattle Times until July 2018. Since May 2018, he serves as a Political cartoonist for The Seattle Times. David provides the Times with three to four political cartoons per week and creates occasional special features. In 1999 and 2003, he won the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning.
Jeff Danzinger is a prominent American syndicated political cartoonist and author. He was listed on Bernard Goldberg’s list of “100 People Who Are Screwing Up America.” Danziger described the listing as “an honor.” He was a member of the American Army from 1967 to 1971. Jeff served in the Vietnam War as an intelligence officer and linguist, and in 1970, he was given the Bronze Star and Air Medal. Jeff started teaching English at Union 32 High School in East Montpelier, Vermont, in 1971. He also worked for the Christian Science Monitor from 1987 to 1997. Also, Jeff taught advanced-level journalism and expository writing programs there. He has been printed by the Los Angeles Times Syndicate as of 2009. Jeff currently resides in New York.
Steve Breen (Full Name: Stephen Paul Breen) is a popular American nationally syndicated editorial cartoonist for the San Diego Union-Tribune since 2001. He received the Pulitzer Prize due to his Editorial Cartooning two times, in 1998 and 2009. Steve is also the author and illustrator of many children’s books. Previously, Steve worked as a full-time editorial cartoonist at Asbury Park Press from 1996 to 2001.
Berkeley Breathed is a noted American cartoonist, children’s book author, director, and screenwriter. Known mostly for his comic strips Bloom County, Outland, and Opus. He recieved the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1987 for his comic. In addition, he has been posting new Bloom County strips via Facebook on an almost-daily basis.
Matt Bors is a noted nationally syndicated American editorial cartoonist and editor. He is an editor of the online comics publication The Nib. Matt began working in a full-time capacity as a cartoonist, writer, and comics editor of The Nib at Medium in September 2013. Before, he worked as the comics journalism editor for Cartoon Movement. In 2012 and 2020, he was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.
Pat Bagley (Full Name: Patrick “Pat” Bagley) is a popular American editorial cartoonist and journalist who works at The Salt Lake Tribune based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is also an author and illustrator of many books. Following graduating, Pat shortly served as a caricaturist in the nearby Orem Mall, prior to being signed in as the editorial cartoonist at The Salt Lake Tribune, where Pat still creates a daily cartoon.
