Cat Cora (Full name: Catherine Ann Cora) is an American professional chef, television personality, business person, and cookbook author. She became known for her featured role as an “Iron Chef” on Iron Chef America and as co-host of Around the World in 80 Plates.

Cat made her TV debut in 1999 as co-host with chef Rocco DiSpirito of Food Network’s Melting Pot. In 2001, she appeared in the documentary television series, My Country, My Kitchen, in the episode Greece, Date Plate. Moreover, she appeared on the television series Simplify Your Life (2002); and was a co-host of the Food Network show Kitchen Accomplished (2004).

MANGO MARGARITAS
INGREDIENTS
1½ Cup Mango (Cubed)
¾ Cup Tequila
½ Cup Triple Sec
½ Cup Fresh Lime Juice (Reserve Slices for Garnish)
4 Cup Crushed Ice
2 Tablespoon Superfine Sugar
4 Mango Chunks (For Garnish)
4 Grapes (For Garnish)
2 Wooden Skewers, snapped in half (For Garnish)

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Puree the mango in a blender. Add the lime juice and crushed ice. Blend until smooth.
2. Pour the sugar into a saucer. Run a small wedge of lime around the rim of each glass and dip the rim into the sugar. Carefully divide the margarita mixture among four glasses and serve.
3. To Make Skewers for Garnish: Thread each half-skewer with 1 mango chunk, 1 thin slice of lime, and 1 grape.
4. Option Watermelon Margarita: Use 3 cups of cubed watermelon in place of the mango.
