Casey Cott ( Full name: Casey Morton Cott) is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Kevin Keller on The CW series Riverdale. Casey launched his acting career by performing in local Ohio theater, he appeared in productions of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson and Romeo and Juliet, just to mention but a few.
After moving to Pittsburgh for school, Casey was involved in the area’s regional theater scene as he performed in university theater productions at the same time. He was featured at the New Hazlett Theater in Pittsburgh in a 2014 production of the play Parade. In this one, Casey starred alongside several of his Carnegie Mellon classmates. Also, he appeared in a production of Small Engine Repair at Barebone Productions.

In March 2017, Casey stated in a Facebook video that he originally auditioned for the roles of Archie Andrews and Jughead Jones, before he landed the role of Kevin and was promoted to a series regular for the second season. At the SXSW Festival on March 12, 2018, Casey announced his upcoming role in the film titled The Mascot. The film was written and directed by Matthew Perkins. Casey would be playing the lead role of an ex-quarterback turned mascot, Nick Shepherd.
But as of early 2019, production on the project was stalled. He took part in the filming of the movie called All the Little Things We Kill in the second half of 2018. In the movie, Casey plays the supporting role of Trever Olsson. It was announced in March 2019, that Casey will star as the titular character of The Who’s Tommy, a Kennedy Center production starring Christian Borle and Mandy Gonzalez.
