Upon graduating, she first worked weekend meteorologist in Missoula, Montana for one year. Brittany then made her next stop in Hastings, Nebraska at News 5 KHAS where she spent the next 2 years in the plains forecasting every manner of weather from blizzards to tornados. First, she worked as the weekend meteorologist and then moved into the weekday evening position.
Moreover, she moved to Huntington, West Virginia as the weekend meteorologist. During her tenure, she reported for the entire state, putting together separate forecasts for 4 different regions each weekend. She then moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma at KJRH 2 for 3 years from 2012 to 2015. She spent most of the spring seasons in the weather center with her team covering tornados for hours at a time.
From 2015 to 2018, she worked as a meteorologist at Fox 59 WXIN and WTTV 4. Brittany then moved to FOX 13 WTVT Tampa for three years until she left the station to join CBS 11 KTVT Dallas in 2021. She joined the CBS Local News Innovation Lab which is housed inside the KTVT studios. She took over for Anne Elise Parks who left in September 2022 and now she serves as the morning meteorologist for CBS 11 KTVT Dallas.
