Brandon Noble ( Full name: Brandon Patrick Noble ) is an American retired football defensive tackle who played in the National Football League for the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys as well as Washington Redskins. He also lost 40 pounds in the spring of 1994 because of a bout with mononucleosis. Brandon collected 22 tackles and 2 sacks as a sophomore during Penn State’s undefeated 1994 season. On August 19, he was waived and signed to the practice squad on November 12 for a week and then cut again on November 18. Brandon signed with the 49ers on January 13, 1998, who then allocated him to the Barcelona Dragons of NFL Europe. He returned to training camp and was released on August 25. Brandon was signed to the practice squad on December 3 for the final four weeks of the season prior to being waived.

He signed with the Dallas Cowboys as a free agent in February 1999 and was assigned again to the Barcelona Dragons of NFL Europe. Brandon had a strong showing, 5 sacks (fifth in the league), tallying 27 tackles (fourth on the team), and one blocked extra point. He received All-NFL Europe honors and took part in leading Barcelona to victory in World Bowl ’97.
