Bonnie Fuller ( Real name: Bonnie Hurowitz) is a Canadian media executive. She is the current owner and editor-in-chief of Hollywood Life.  Previously, Bonnie served as editor-in-chief for publications such as  Cosmopolitan, YM, Glamour, and Us Weekly. She was a fashion reporter at the Toronto Star in 1978.

Two years later,  Bonnie became a sportswear editor for Women’s Wear Daily. In 1983, she had her first job as editor-in-chief for the Canadian national fashion magazine Flare. Bonnie worked there for five years at the publication but later joined YM as editor-in-chief. In 1994, she launched the American version of Marie Claire magazine. She served as the editor-in-chief there.

Bonnie was appointed editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan magazine in 1996. She succeeded Helen Gurley Brown in this role. She served as the editor of Glamour magazine from 1998 to 2001. While working as Editor-in-Chief of Us Weekly, Bonnie redesigned the title and created the modern celebrity newsweekly. Also, she created such signature sections as “Stars Are Just Like Us.”

In early  July 2003, Bonnie served as Executive Vice President and Chief Editorial Director of American Media Inc. While there, she oversaw AMI’s 16 weekly, bi-weekly,  as well as monthly magazines such as  Country Weekly, Natural Health, Shape, Star, and Men’s Fitness. Star relaunched from a tabloid to a glossy magazine during Bonnie’s tenure. She stepped down from her position in May 2008. However, she remained the editor-at-large at Star and a consultant to AMI.
