Prior to that, she worked at KDVR-TV, a Fox-affiliated television station in Denver, Colorado as a meteorologist. She received an Emmy Award with her colleagues for the program El Niño Currents Of Chang in 2016.

While there Somara worked on The Good Morning Cleveland Newscast as their morning meteorologist.

Shomari was also the NBC4 reporter at Boston after the bombing during the Boston Marathon. He was present during the 2013 U.S Capitol shooting and also during the Baltimore protests. Additionally, he has had an exclusive interview with Trayvon Martin’s parents when they were in Washington D.C.

Nicole Hartford an American meteorologist currently working as a morning meteorologist here at CBS Austin. She airs her forecast every weekday morning from 4:10 AM to 7:00 AM. Nicole joined CBC Austin from Amarillo’s ABC affiliate, KVII, where she had spent two years. After graduation, Nicole traded in hurricanes for snowstorms to start off her television career in Grand Junction, Colorado.
