Andrea Botez (Full name: Andrea Cecilia Cristina Botez) is a Canadian-American chess player, Twitch streamer, commentator, YouTuber, and Instagrammer. She is originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. When Andrea and her sister Alexandra do not stream from their regular set-up at home playing chess or doing different activities, the two host a show on their Twitch channel called “Botez Abroad.”
In this show, they travel to big cities from around the world and stream their in-person matches in front of a live audience. Andrea was part of the commentator team in the second iteration of the online amateur chess tournament Pogchamps.
