That love of communication and science led her to enroll at Mississippi State University and pursue Geoscience and Broadcast Meteorology. Amber has assisted build homes in Minot with Habitat for Humanity after the 2011 flood and has also taught kids the art of filmmaking at the Boys and Girls Club.
