Allen Bestwick is an American sportscaster journalist who is currently editorializing the Superstar Racing Experience on CBS, UConn Huskies women’s basketball on SportsNet New York, and tennis matches on ESPN+. He was announced to start the play–by–play commentator for the Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) racing series for CBS from April 14, 2021.

 Prior he was working for ESPN and ABC as motorsports. He worked with the ESPN family of networks and was most recently the lap-by-lap broadcaster of ABC’s coverage of the IndyCar Series since 2007, entailing the Indianapolis 500 until 2018. Allen has covered NASCAR for many years for ESPN, Motor Racing Network, NBC Sports, and Turner Sports.

Allen his first season as the voice for the Huskies he was a former UConn forward Meghan Culmo as a game analyst and Maria Marino as the networks game reporter. In 2019-2020 SNY announced a new broadcast team of UConn women’s basketball season which features a veteran play-by-play announcer.

SNY will give out games coverage of Sunday’s season opener as one of UConn’s American Athletic Conference games. The UConn’s March 2 against USF will appear on ESPN2.
