He reported the inaugurations of President Barack Obama in Washington, D.C, had exclusive access to boxing champ Lennox Lewis during the Lewis vs Mike Tyson Fight. Alex is a Team Read volunteer coach for Shelby County Schools. He is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS).
