Adam Ferrara is an American actor and comedian. He is known for playing the role of Chief “Needles” Nelson on the FX series Rescue Me. Adam served as a co-host on the U.S. version of Top Gear and played NYPD Sgt. Frank Verelli opposite Edie Falco on Showtime series Nurse Jackie. He also played Detective Tommy Manetti on the television series The Job.
He has also co-starred alongside Kevin James in the hit movie Paul Blart: Mall Cop and in Definitely, Maybe with Ryan Reynolds and Isla Fisher. Currently, Adam hosts the critically acclaimed BBC sensation, Top Gear USA, airing on History. Additionally, he is an internationally touring headliner, a two-time nominee for best male stand-up by the American Comedy Awards, and has three Comedy Central Specials.
