Dan Snow is a British popular historian and television presenter. As a writer, he is known for The Christmas Truce in 2020, The American Hero Ride in 2008, and Imphal & Kohima: Britain’s Greatest Battle in 2018. Dan was made a patron of Humanists UK for his contribution to the better understanding of the human condition.
In 2003 he commenced his television career alongside his father Peter Snow in a BBC film about El Alamein. This was followed by the series Battlefield Britain and numerous other history programs for the BBC. He has also presented on many state occasions such as the 200th-anniversary celebration of the Battle of Trafalgar and the 90th anniversary of the Armistice in November 2008.
