She worked in Ohio in her early career where she reported on Dr. Bennet Omalu as well as his discovery of CTE throughout the autopsy of famed Steelers Center Mike Webster, which is now depicted in the major motion picture called “Concussion”. In addition, Jackie was assigned a small role in the movie when it was being recorded in Pittsburgh. Besides that, she also works on the board of the Patrick Risha CTE Awareness Foundation.
Since her arrival in Twin Cities, she represented KSTP with numerous nonprofits such as Open Arms of Minnesota and the Children’s Hospital Association.
