She then started working for MSNBC in 202o and left in Jun 2022. Before that, Alison served as an on-air news anchor at NBC News. She launched her career in journalism in 2002 when she began working for CNBC Europe and The Wall Street Journal Europe as their reporter in Paris, France.

She morning reporter was fired from WHDH Channel 7 News Boston in October 2020 for appearing in Sandler’s new Netflix movie, Hubie Halloween, thereby, mistakenly violating her contract with the station.
