Previously, he served as a media reporter for The New York Times and the editor of TVNewser. Brian created a blog about television and cable news which he later sold to Mediabistro. In addition, he served for The New York Times as a media reporter later in July 2007 while he was at the age of 22 years.

Coy Michael Wire is an American anchor, correspondent, and retired football player in the National Football League. Coy joined CNN as a sports anchor and correspondent in 2015. He was also a linebacker as well as a safety who played college football for Stanford. From 2002 to 2007, Coy played for the Buffalo Bills. From 2008 to 2010, he played for the Atlanta Falcons.
