Isaacson also serves as a professor at Tulane University and an advisory partner at Perella Weinberg Partners, a New York City-based financial services firm. In addition, he is a host of the show “Amanpour and Company” on PBS and CNN. Isaacson also works as a contributor to CNBC, and host of the podcast “Trailblazers, from Dell Technologies.”

Isaacson’s biography of Leonardo da Vinci became published on October 17, 2017, and received positive reviews from critics. In August 2017, Paramount Pictures earned a bidding war against Universal Pictures for the rights to adapt Isaacson’s biography of da Vinci.
