Ty’s passion for finding the truth and telling unique and important stories quickly made him earn a position as the station’s weekend anchor. Following two years, Ty became promoted to evening anchor at the company’s second station, the NBC affiliate KMTR. Later on, Ty took a big leap to California, where he served as the evening anchor at KTXL.
While Ty is not anchoring or chasing down community newsmakers on KCRA 3 and My58, one will often see him emceeing for local nonprofits and causes he’s passionate about, running on one of the endless trails in the area or playing with his girls at one of their best parks.
