TheOdd1sOut (Full name: Robert James Rallison) is an American cartoonist, YouTuber, animator, author, and voice actor. He is known for producing storytime animations on his YouTube channel.
Robert is also the co-creator and co-star of the animated Netflix series Oddballs. His webcomic channel has earned over 18 million subscribers for animations and reaction videos. Robert first started out on Tumblr. He published the first episode of his webcomic on the site tapastic in February 2014.

Robert’s first published illustrated works were webcomics, under the title TheOdd1sOut. He uploaded his first comic strip onto Tumblr in June 2012, at the age of 16. After 100 comics, he had amassed 100 followers, and it took him about a year to settle into his art style.
By September 2016 he had written around 400 strips. Robert described the characters in his comics as “marshmallow people” because of their white, roundish look. His comics tended to focus on lighthearted themes, such as taking famous puns literally or poking fun at social cliches.

In June 2022, he announced that an animated series, Oddballs, based on his character, would premiere on Netflix later in the year. Robert also worked on the board game Can’t Catch Harry, and, on November 22, he announced and released his mobile game named TheOdd1sOut: Let’s Bounce!

Robert wrote a book titled The Odd 1s Out: How to Be Cool and Other Things I Definitely Learned from Growing Up, which was released in July 2018. The book was ranked No. 12 in the “trade paperback” category on Publishers Weekly’s August 13, 2018, bestseller list. In 2020, h released a second book titled TheOdd1sOut: The First Sequel.

He competed in the 100k YouTuber Battle Royale held by MrBeast and was put on the Green Team with Anthony Padilla and Jaiden Animations. Robert donated the money to Team Trees. In this game, the player, as TheOdd1sOut’s character, has to jump on every person Robert has featured in his videos. As the game plays on a trial meeting his family and friends, different characters can be unlocked.

His most popular video used to be his ‘Work Stories (Sooubway)’ video about his work at fast-food chain Subway (jokingly referred to as ‘Sooubway’ in his videos. Robert has stated that it was specifically for comedic purposes, not for the protection of suing his video). His videos about working at Subway have also been featured on Foodbeast.
