Later on, Susan joined Teach for America and taught first grade in under-served schools in Houston and Texas. Immediately after TFA, she got back into journalism.
Most importantly, she has served as a reporter and weather forecaster in Columbus, Georgia. Recently, Susan served as an evening anchor and reporter at WIS-TV in Columbia, S.C. In her leisure time, Susan likes hanging out with her family and eating fried okra. Speaking of food, she loves taste explorations and diving into the Twin Cities restaurant scene.
