Steve Coogan (Stephen John Coogan) is an English producer, actor, comedian, and screenwriter. He rose to fame in the 1980s for his voice acting on the satirical puppet show Spitting Image and also for providing voice-overs for television advertisements.
Steve co-founded a British comedy television company called BBay Cow Productions alongside Henry Normal. He also portrayed the character of Alan Partridge on On the Hour and The Day Today alongside Armando Iannucci. As an actor, he has been featured in several films including The Lost King, Philomena, Ideal Home, Irreplaceable You, The Professor, and the Madman, and Our Idiot Brother among others.
