Stedman Graham is a popular American educator, author, businessman, and public speaker who was the CEO of S. Graham & Associates, a marketing and consulting firm, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. He is the author of 12 books, such as two New York Times bestsellers and one Wall Street Journal bestseller. Stedman is the long-term partner of Oprah Winfrey.
As a businessman, educator, and speaker, Stedman lectures and conducts training programs for corporations and educational organizations worldwide on the topic of Identity Leadership, based on the philosophy that one cannot lead anyone else until you first lead yourself. Stedman has delivered Identity Leadership programs in The Netherlands, Germany, China, Canada, the UK, Bermuda, and South Africa. He moved to High Point, North Carolina, to establish himself in public relations. At B & C Associates, he worked on behalf of Black causes and worked with many distinguished clients, including author Maya Angelou and South African activist Winnie Mandela.
Stedman is also the founder of Chicago, Illinois’s AAD (formerly, Athletes Against Drugs), a non-profit organization that provides services to youth and has awarded over $1.5 million in scholarships since its founding in 1985. It also arranged for sports figures to educate children about substance abuse. Stedman is a member of the Indiana Broadcasting Hall of Fame. In 1988 Stedman created S.
