Seth Andrews is an American author, podcaster, activist, and speaker on the subject of atheism. He is the founder and host of an online community, podcast, and YouTube channel called The Thinking Atheist. Seth is the author of three self-published books. Before his atheist activism, he served as a fundamentalist Christian. Seth had a ten-year career as a Christian radio host.
Seth was formerly a fan of contemporary Christian music. From 1990 to 2000, he hosted the Morning Show on Christian radio station KXOJ-FM. In 1997, Christian songwriter Rich Mullins died in a traffic accident. His death played a role in Seth’s initial doubts about the truth of Christianity. September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks also played a role in strengthening Seth’s doubts about religion and leading him to apostasy.
