Selma Blair (Full name: Selma Blair Beitner) is an American actress. She played countless roles in films and on television prior to obtaining recognition for her leading role in the film Brown’s Requiem in 1998. Selma’s breakthrough came after she starred as Zoe Bean on the WB sitcom Zoe, Duncan, Jack, and Jane from 1999 to 2000.
She also starred as Cecile Caldwell in the cult film Cruel Intentions in 1999. Selma continued to find success with the comedies Legally Blonde in 2001 and The Sweetest Thing in 2002. She achieved international fame with her portrayal of Liz Sherman in the big-budget fantasy film titled Hellboy in 2004 as well as Hellboy II: The Golden Army in 2008.
On television, Selma starred as Kim in the American remake of Kath & Kim from 2008 to 2009. She starred as Kate Wales on the sitcom Anger Management from 2012 to 2014.
