He joined the station in 1995. Sal is also a regular contributor to Sunday NFL Countdown, SportsCenter, Monday Night Countdown, and NFL Live. Prior to that, he spent two years as a beat reporter and political reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Sal is also a regular contributor to Sunday NFL Countdown, SportsCenter, Monday Night Countdown, and NFL Live. Additionally, he increased his studio duties by working as a host for the NFL Matchup along with Greg Cosell and Louis Riddick replacing Suzy Kolber.
Sal’s best-known work was during the 2004 and 2005 seasons for his coverage of the Terrell Owens saga with the Philadelphia Eagles. He is also an adjunct professor at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia since 2001.
Prior to that, he spent two years as a beat reporter and political reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer. During his stay at the station, he also worked as a WPHL-TV reporter for a nightly news show, Inquirer News Tonight, and also a WIP sports radio host of Saturday Morning Sports Page.
