Rose Byrne ( Full name: Mary Rose Byrne) is an Australian actress. She made her screen debut in 1994 in the film Dallas Doll. Rose continued to act in Australian film and television throughout the 1990s. The actress obtained her first leading film role in The Goddess of 1967 in 2000. This role brought her the Volpi Cup for Best Actress.
Also, Rose made the transition to Hollywood in the small role of Dormé in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones in 2002. This was followed by larger parts in Troy in 2004, 28 Weeks Later in 2007, and Knowing in 2009. The actress appeared as Ellen Parsons in the legal thriller series Damages from 2007 to 2012.
